Class Picture

So K's teacher asked me to take a picture of her class so she could give a copy to each student at the end of the year.  Of course, there had to be a silly one along with the straight ones.  I had a good time playing in Photoshop with the goofy one.  He is the final product using the "fresco" edit.....

And of course, the "proper" one.....

We love Mrs. Leyes....thanks for teaching my baby!

MY TWELVE YEAR OLD!

Months ago I took these pictures of J for her yearly pix and it has taken me forever to fix them. Still need to get them on my wall so I guess J better pick one she likes....it will be a hard choice!
This last one was taken when it was too dark, but with the lights around and the flash, I thought it was pretty cool colors.

Snowmass/Aspen

My hubby and I took a weekend trip to a Snowmass condo and took in the sights around there and Aspen.  It was a nice few days with all kinds of weather so many different shots were taken.

My Senior

Went out with my son again for another session for his senior pictures....It was fun finding different places that would make a good picture.  I thought they didn't turn out half bad.  Still not as good as my friend's photography, but I like them.

A First For Me

So my oldest is now a senior in high school and with that comes Senior Pictures......it was my first try at that and I wish I had my lens I am wanting.....and Photo Shop of course.  I think they will come out much better with those, but I think they didn't turn out too bad.

He insisted on going out today right after school.  But with that came the sun blaring down from way up high....so there are shadows on his face and he is squinting.  But that is the beauty of taking the pictures for myself....not paying a pro and having all the sessions I want to.  We can try lots of different things and can go back as many times as we want.

Here are the best ones from today....I think they turned out pretty good.  It helps when he is so photogenic and so handsome!

He wanted his pictures in front of a "nice" truck and he is lucky enough to have a friend that would let him borrow his.....he wished it was his own of course.
